Terms of Service
Effective: January 2026
By accessing or using Klarv ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
Authority: If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Klarv is a Salesforce metadata analysis platform that helps you understand, document, and optimize your Salesforce automations. The Service includes:
- Automation conflict detection and risk analysis
- AI-powered diagnostic chat and documentation
- Process Analytics and field impact visualization
- Execution order mapping
The Service connects to your Salesforce org via OAuth and analyzes metadata to provide insights. We access automation definitions (flows, triggers, validation rules) and, for Process Analytics, field history tracking data.
Process Analytics data (paid feature): For subscribers using Process Analytics, we access field history records for picklist and status fields (e.g., Opportunity Stage, Lead Status, Case Status) to analyze how records move through your business processes. This includes record IDs, old/new field values, and timestamps. We do not access contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, dollar amounts, free-text fields, notes, or file attachments.
Your use of AI-powered features (including but not limited to diagnostic chat, risk analysis, documentation generation, and field impact analysis) is monitored and tracked. We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns for service optimization and abuse prevention
- Adjust allocations — credit allocations, pricing, and usage limits may be modified at any time
- Modify features — AI features may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice
- Implement rate limiting or throttling to ensure fair usage across all users
Usage data may be used to improve our AI models and services. No personally identifiable Salesforce data is used for model training.
Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Credit system: AI features consume credits from your monthly allocation. Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets on your billing cycle date.
Monthly credits: Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next month.
Bonus credits: Credits purchased separately ("bonus credits") do not expire and are used after your monthly allocation is exhausted.
No refunds: Unused subscription credits are not refundable. See our Billing Policy for details.
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to abuse or circumvent usage limits
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service for competitive analysis of Klarv
- Upload malicious content via screenshots or file uploads
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Our property: Klarv, its features, functionality, and underlying technology are owned by Klarv and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your data: You retain all ownership rights to your Salesforce data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your metadata solely to provide the Service.
AI-generated content: Documentation, summaries, and insights generated by our AI features are provided for your use. You may use this content for your internal business purposes.
Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Salesforce OAuth: We request only the permissions necessary to analyze your org's metadata. We do not access, store, or process your Salesforce customer data (names, emails, amounts, etc.) beyond what is needed for Process Analytics field history.
Data retention: Your data is retained while your account is active. You may disconnect your org at any time to remove stored data.
No SLA guarantee: For free and standard paid tiers, we do not guarantee specific uptime percentages. We strive to maintain high availability but the Service is provided on a "best-effort" basis.
Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice when possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
Feature changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.
Disclaimer: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLARV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Cap: Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Klarv and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party.
By you: You may disconnect your Salesforce org and stop using the Service at any time from your Settings page.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Effect: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Stored data will be deleted according to our data retention practices.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
